FAQ

  • Does my dog need to be fixed to use Doggi?

No, fixed status is part of your dog's profile so other owners can see it and make the right call for their pup. It's there for transparency, not as a requirement.

  • What happens if a play date goes wrong, is Doggi liable?

Doggi connects you with other dog owners but is not responsible for what happens during in-person meetups. Always meet in a public dog-friendly space first, and trust your gut before introducing the dogs off-leash.

  • Can I use Doggi if I don't want to share my exact location?

Yes, but with limitations. You can set location to "While Using" in iPhone Settings so it's never running in the background. Keep in mind that turning off location entirely will prevent you from seeing nearby matches.

  • Will other users see my personal photos or just my dog's?

Both profiles are visible after a match. Your dog's profile is shown during swiping, and your owner profile becomes visible once you match. You control what photos you upload to each.

  • What's the difference between a Like and a Match?

A Like means you swiped right on someone. A Match happens when both owners Like each other, that's when the chat unlocks and the "It's a Match!" screen appears with both dogs and both owners.

  • Can I be on Doggi if I have multiple dogs?

Currently each account supports one active dog profile. If you have multiple dogs, you can update your pet profile as needed. Multi-dog support is something we're exploring for a future update.

  • How do I contact support?
